Entry 004 (youtube community post) - leaving the gas station
10.04
I am leaving the gas station now.
I was in line to pay. There was an old man in front of me, buying a newspaper and a pack of batteries. He looked like he'd worked outside his whole life. As he was counting out his change, he looked over at me. Just a quick glance.
Then he looked back at the clerk and said, clear as day, "Feels like there's a pressure system moving in. The kind that makes your teeth ache."
He took his change and walked out. He didn't look at me again.
My grandfather used the exact same words, "a pressure that makes your teeth ache," to describe the UAK-KILO signal in his logs.
It wasn't a warning. It was a recognition. He knows who I am.
